Kindergarten Math

Investigations is the kindergarten math curriculum. The curriculum is organized into six units.

  • Unit 1: Who is in School Today? | Classroom routines and materials
  • Unit 2: Counting and Comparing | Measurement and the number system I
  • Unit 4: Measuring and Counting | Measurement and the Number System II
  • Unit 5: Make a Shape, Build a Block | 2-D and 3-D Geometry
  • Unit 6: How Many Do You Have? | Addition, Subtraction, and the number System
  • Unit 7: Sorting and Surveys | Data Analysis

Mathematical concepts are explored daily through the use of manipulatives, playing games, calendar work, number line, counting the days of school, and counting who is in school each day.
