We welcomed author Mac Barnett and author/illustrator Jon Klassen to the Peabody earlier this week, and oh what a visit we had! Mac and Jon delighted students in grades 1-3 with their talent and wit as they read aloud from books they collaborated on:
Extra Yarn,
Sam & Dave Dig a Hole, and
Triangle.
Triangle is their brand new book – its book birthday was March 14th, so we all sang a quirky rendition of
Happy Birthday to it (hear it in the video below!). Mac and Jon cracked jokes the whole time and had the students in fits of giggles! They wrapped up with a Q&A session that was full of clever, thoughtful questions from our students.
