Third Grade’s current CKLA unit is Animal Classification. We have been reading informational text about different types of animals and the characteristics that help us classify them into different groups. With the help of our generous Room Caregivers, we are excited to have planned a field trip to the Stone Zoo in December! Students will get to visit the zoo and learn about different Animal Adaptations through a special program we will be attending!
Additionally, we have just finished up our graphing unit in Math and thanks to funding from the
Friends of Peabody third grade will be taking a field trip to Flatbreads in Davis Square at the end of October to do some bowling and enjoy pizza! Using our bowling scores as our data, third graders will be choosing a scale and creating a graph representing their scores! Many thanks to both our Room Caregivers and the
FOP for all of their help in making these trips happen.
