Our 5th grade students recently embarked on an exciting field trip to Project Adventure, a day dedicated to powerful Social Emotional Learning (SEL)!
Project Adventure provided a unique setting for students to engage in healthy risk-taking and challenges both on the ground and high up on their ropes course. Following the philosophy of Challenge by Choice, students were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and embrace new experiences.
This change of scenery was an excellent way for students to build essential life skills, including teamwork, problem-solving, confidence, social skills, and collaboration.
The trip successfully fostered stronger connections among students while reinforcing crucial SEL competencies in a dynamic, supportive environment. It was a memorable day of growth and discovery! Thank you to Friends of Peabody for Sponsoring this event.
