doveOver the last month, the Peabody School has created a Peace project. The project is a dove on a four-foot square stretch of white canvas. The dove is made up entirely of students, staff, administrators, cabinet members and school committee member’s fingerprints. The piece is framed out with all the participants’ signatures and fingerprints again. The result is a stunning beacon of peace and hope.

Principal Jennifer Ford and Literacy Coach Traci Vecchiarello conceived the project. Peabody School Art Teacher Yuliya Goncharov brought the vision to life.

The Peace Project was unveiled at our grade one through four winter concert. As a surprise, the Community dedicated the project to Jennifer Ford. Here is the inscription:
