The
Peabody School is a friendly, compassionate, and effective school. We
begin with curriculum and instructional strategies that ensure every
student will learn to master the essential skills in reading, writing,
math, science, and social studies. Through a variety of programs and
initiatives, we also ensure that every student will learn to appreciate
the Arts, to understand and interact with all cultures, to realize their
role in society, and be able to think independently and articulate
their feelings.

The Literacy Collaborative
is a comprehensive model for school reform provided as a collaboration
between Lesley University and the Peabody School. It is a long-term
professional development program designed to provide a school-wide
approach to literacy instruction in grades K-5. The goal of the program
is to assure successful literacy achievement for every child.
