Important Message from the Peabody Equity Leadership Team

Dear Members of the Peabody School Community,
The recent violent attacks that occurred in the greater Atlanta area have, once again, shaken our country to its core. The Peabody School Equity Leadership Team would like to extend our sincere condolences to the entire Asian American Pacific Islander community. When tragedies like this occur, let us take a moment to remind each other that we do not condone any kind of hate and stand in solidarity with the Asian community.
Our nation has been involved in ongoing crisis after crisis, and acts of hate such as this demonstrate an incredible need for all us to come together and commit to the healing process that must take place if we are ever going to become united as a nation.
In closing, we must acknowledge what has just happened and the impact it is having on Asian communities across this nation. If you or someone you know needs a moment or a space to talk, please reach out to one of us or to someone you know who can help process this crisis.
